My back tooth aches, and when I flossed the gums bled?!

Question: My back tooth aches, and when I flossed the gums bled?
My back tooth has been aching for a few days. I brush twice daily and I floss once daily so my gums don't usually bleed, but when I got to my back tooth the gums back there started to bleed and it was very painful. I'm 16 years old if that makes a difference. What could be wrong?

Well then it's not the tooth, it's your gum. I would go to a dentist.

Yes, go to see the dentist to see what happens to your gum.
