Sore teeth in the morning - Grinding my teeth at night?!

Question: Sore teeth in the morning - Grinding my teeth at night?
I woke up this morning with sore teeth (if that;s possible!), I think it could have been from ginding my teeth as I slept. Is this a sign of stress? Because I've been very down recently..

Answers:

Grinding of your teeth while sleeping could definitely be due to stress. It could also be due to occlusal disturbances (Which is a slight discrepancy in how your upper and lower teeth come together - in which case you should consult a dentist). A dentist might recommend that you use a night guard for your teeth, although this will only prevent your teeth from being sore but not solve the underlying issue. De-stressing (although its easier said than done) or some form of relaxation and also equilibration of your teeth by the dentist could be a more long lasting solution. Check with your dentist. Let me know if i can help with any other concerns. Regards. :)

Will try to discuss this on a blog soon at http://www.volusiamedicalsupply.com/index.php/blog/

try buying a mouthguard for that problem. you maybe grinding them and the
mouthguards sold at drug stores may help you.

It could be because of stress, or maybe how you're sleeping. Maybe try a new pillow? Or get a mouth guard. It worked for me

yes it is a sign of stress
