Two Little Bumps Below My Teeth?!

Question: Two Little Bumps Below My Teeth?
Hello. So i'm currently 15 and ever since i was a little kid i've had these two little bumps on the inside of my lower gum beneath my lower middle teeth. I can feel the little bumps with my tongue. They feel round and i can move them up and down a little by poking at them with my tongue. Also, to the right of the bumps i can feel another little bump that feels like it's longer and flatter. What can these be? if you don't know, what kind of doctor should i see about it? Thanks.

The two bumps beneath your bottom middle teeth together make up your genial tubercle. It is the point of insertion of your geniohyoid muscle. It is actually bone covered by soft tissue and only feels mobile. The other little bumps are likely minor salivary glands. You don't need to see a doctor, but if you are still worried just have your dentist look during your next cleaning.

I am a dentist

Well, you would want to see your dentist and let him refer you if it need additional attention but, the bumps your feeling just may be your gums that got push away when your teeth were coming in when you were a child. Maybe just a little extra piece of gum tissue.
Ask your dentist and see what they say. This is your best bet.
Good Luck!
