Extreme tooth pain has traveled to upper & lower jaw?!

Question: Extreme tooth pain has traveled to upper & lower jaw?
I have had a slew of dental issues but I have never been in so much pain in my life. I've had a toothache for about a month now. I had to wait until my dental insurance began in Feb so I started taking a heavy dose of Tylenol, Advil, and Naproxen. I had a dental appt. that got cancelled due to a major snow storm, and it's taken me these past couple of weeks to find a dentist who could see me ASAP (I have an appt. tomorrow morning).

My boyfriend is on a regimen of Oxycodone 7.5mg for disc and spinal injury, and I've been taking these sparingly to help with the pain for the past few days as Tylenol and Advil don't work anymore.. As of yesterday these no longer touch the pain. I'm going to be honest with the dentist about taking them so he/she use it as a guage for how bad the pain is.
Last Sunday the pain had reached a point where I no longer could stand it anymore so I went to the ER. They gave me 500mg penicillin 4 times a day. I've been taking it since and no relief so I don't know if there is an infection or what.

This morning my entire lower face felt like I had been punched in the face repeatedly all night. I'm hoping the dentist can give me some relief tomorrow....has anyone experienced this?

I have not gone thru this myself but I had a friend who went thru it and it can be tough but you just have to hang in there and let the dentist do his or her thing...
