Getting braces off and getting retainer on?!

Not at all but getting impressions and the glue off can be uncomfertable

i've only just had my permanent braces on so i can't answer your first question. but i have had a removable brace before, and the retainer doesn't hurt at all, but it is really annoying as its really big and swallowing makes a big noise...................................… after a few days, (3-5) you don't notice it's there.

It does hurt when the braces come off, you feel lots of pressure in your mouth
