Question: Teeth and braces. plate expander?
I have a decent smile, right now, but my incisors are somewhat narrowed. the front teeth though are at the correct places. I have a small over bite where I can just barley squeeze a straw through it. I was wondering if a palate expander could give me more room and pull the front teeth back just a little bit to close off the small over bite. because they would make the palate stretch so i thought it would have to shrink that way to close off the small opening. I had braces once but the teeth moved back because I never expanded it before.

I had a plate expander for about a year or 2. Getting it on wasn't painful at all, but the cement they use to keep it on with literally made me gag to the point they had to hold me down to get it in.
