Can my ORTHODONTIST get rid of my cavity?!

Question: Can my ORTHODONTIST get rid of my cavity?

I have a cavity on my front tooth and my braces come off in 2 days, its quite visable its a brown colour and i can only see my dentist in 1 week so i have to walk around with this brown thing on my tooth but can i ask my orthodontist (when my braces come off) to remove it for me? or dont they do that kind of stuff? do i have to wait a week to see my dentist to have it done?

You're going to have to wait a week. If there was an emergency, an orthodontist could do some dental work, but they are specialists who would rather have you wait a week than do it themselves. Its just like with physicians, everyone has their specialty and if you ask them to do something extra they will simply refer you to someone else.
