Hello
once the numbness has worn off you can eat and drink ok( normally 3-4 hours). But stick to soft non sticky foods and chew on other side for the rest of the day. Tomorrow you will be able to eat normally again. The filling is probably set now, but I am always careful myself after having fillings the same day. I stick to soups and chicken and bread, anything soft and gentle on the mouth.

Hope that helps

It depends which tooth it was, if it is a back tooth you might have to be really careful. If it was me, I would not eat food I had to chew. Try soup as a starter or you might undo the dentists work. I would have soup tonight and then try chewing on the other side tomorrow and after that you should be fine.

Not nice but rinse your mouth out with warm water and salt - it speeds up the healing process. xx

Had lots of dental work !

hello it is best to stay away from a new filling for 24 hours and then you can chew normally on it not to much toffee though!!

Give it 3 or 4 hours then take it gentle, no huge steaks yet..Tomorrow you will be fine.
