5 teeth pulled for braces?!

Question: 5 teeth pulled for braces?
today i had 5 baby teeth pulled because my mouth is very crowded and the teeth are all super crooked. I'm pretty sure it was for braces because my orthodontist said "okay we need to get these things out or you will b getting your braces senior year!" . i just want to know if they will wait for the teeth to grow into the holes before they start braces because i need braces really really badly haha.

The point of pulling your baby teeth is to speed up the process of your adult teeth coming in because you need all of the adult teeth in before you get braces (only in rare cases is there exceptions.)

They will wait for your adult teeth to come in, because braces will align your teeth, and it would be counteractive to align your teeth when new teeth are going to be coming in. ANY teeth coming in have an affect on tooth alignment. My wisdom teeth came in and affected my tooth alignment quite a bit.

It sounds like they pulled the baby teeth because the adult teeth haven't come in.
They may have pulled the teeth to speed up the process of your adult teeth coming in.
USUALLY, you do have to have all of your adult teeth in before they will put braces on .
