i have to have braces ?!

The same thing happened to me! I went there to get my braces on, and on the first appointment they only were able to put on 4 braces...and I was like what?!
The reason they couldn't put top and bottom on at the same time for me was because I had a small overbite, so every time I bit down, my top teeth would slide over my bottom teeth. And if there were braces on the bottom teeth, my top teeth would knock them off. So, the orthodontist is probably going to have you wear the top braces for a little while, maybe a few months, then give you bottom braces.

I had braces for almost 2 years and just got them off.

braces are good I guess. but not everyone has it the same. I had them all on in one appointment
