Question: How to convince my dentist i need pain medication ?

I have a broken and chipped tooth, and the pain is to much. I have got a dentist appontment coming up and need somthing to help. I sprained my ankle a couple weeks ago and the doctor gave me tylenol 3 whe i took it. It did not help my tooth at all. What can i tell my doctor to get pain pills that work, and not seem like a addict ?

just tell him the situation with your tooth and ask if there is anything he could suggest or perscribe to help relieve it .
do NOT mention any drug by name and dont act like you know what hes talking about if he starts to bring up different medications even if you do. that stuff is the tips that they look for. dont seem desprete with your voice,but more with your facial expressions. and keep like periodically running your tounge over your tooth in a way that seems absent minded.

used to get pills off docs like crazy.
