Extremely loose thooth and have dentist checkup in 2 hours?!


Question: Extremely loose thooth and have dentist checkup in 2 hours?
One of my teeth are so loose that i can move it anywhere, almost completly around, up down side to side, it feels as theres a string in the center holding it back. im guessing its a root. its also in alot of pain, and in 2 hours i have a dential checkup? take it out or leave it? also i cant get it out already tried.

Defiantly leave it alone let the Dentist take care of it. Plus if it hurts you alot now it will hurt when you pull it and the dentist can numb you a little bit before hand so it doesnt bother you as much. good luck!

Even if the tooth is loose enough it is being held in the tooth socket by periodontal ligament fibres. Pulling your tooth out even if it is that loose is going to hurt without anesthesia. Wait until you get to the dentist. Plus, you want the dentist to take care of the bleeding that follows an extraction.
