Question: Does getting a dental crown hurt?
I am getting my first dental crown today and am freaking out! I have had a few cavities before and know what the novacane shot feels like, but I still hate needles! On a scale of 1-10, how bad does it hurt when then grind your tooth down to a stub? How bad does it hurt when the remove the temporary crown and put the real one in! Any advice? Please? Thanks!

No not a bit... i got like ten of them when i was a 5 year old and none of them hurt when i got them put on ( i didn't get them all on the same day) and yes there was a needle, but it didn't hurt, and they probably wont give you a shot since your older and therefore more tolerant to pain. not that it hurts ;)
