How long will my braces hurt?!

I just got braces about a month ago and let me tell you, the first week is always the worst. After the first couple of days the pain gradually goes away. (For me it was 3 days of straight pain) I know exactly how you feel because I was on Yahoo doing the exact same thing you were! But trust me, advil or motrin are your tickets to no more pain. Just keep taking it every couple of hours and just relax. Hope I helped!

I have them

mine hurt for three days and iv have them for 8 days now and i don't even notice them anymore i can even eat almost anything now including steak and chips, just don't try biting anything with you front teeth.

when i first got braces, they hurt for about a week. then after every appointment they will be sore for a day or two. what helps is taking advil and stick to eating soft foods for now!

probably a week or 2 and i was on advil alottttt but after that you cant feel it and it just cuts your cheeks on the inside so definatly use wax when you go to sleep

u can try to take them off cause the pain is gonna last about a year good luck with that oppss that hertz.
