Answers:

its for the drunks

different types of alcohol do different things.. the concentration in mouthwash if for cleaning purposes, freshness, and to eliminate bacteria, where as ethanol (commonly known as ETOH) alcohol is used for drinking purposes due to higher percentage of ETOH

Because some of us appreciate the effectiveness. Hell, I add cinnamon oil to my generic Listerine?, since the company is too pansy to produce and market an official cinnamon flavor!

I also use a 70% isopropanol sprayer for aftershave; I'm just weird like that.

If you are brushing your teeth properly, there should be no need for mouthwash, for freshness of breath, it is better if you can use mouthwash without alchohol, and don't use it all day slong.

it kills bacteria better with alcohol but makes your mouth super minty

no alcohol doesnt leave ur mouth dry and dosnt make ur mouth super minty

Ethanol/Ethyl Alcohol, compared to other disinfectants, is less toxic and tastes better than other things that effectively kill bacteria.

They use alchol mainly because it helps clean the teeth alchol is used in some cleaning products aswell.
