How do you get rid of a cavity?!

Question: How do you get rid of a cavity?
I have a cavity between my teeth before the wisdom tooth and a little after the incisor. It is where you are supposed to floss. It really hurts and i don't want to go through another drilling. HELP!!!!!

Answers:

At your point if you have waited long enough for it to hurt, you will have 3 situations.
1. if it only hurts for a short time after you drink something cold - a simple filling will most likely fix you up
2. if it hurts spontaneously or if it hurts for more than 10-15 sec after you get something cold on it then you have 2 options a. root canal with a large filling or crown b. have the tooth extracted

I am sorry but if you have waited this long those are your only options. cavities wont fix themselves and will only get worse. My best advice is to get it fixed then take care of your teeth and visit your dentist regularly so that this wont happen again.

dentist
