Excessive saliva after seeing dentist?!

Question: Excessive saliva after seeing dentist?
So I am 18 weeks pregnant and today I saw the dentist to get 5 cavities filled. I felt perfectly fine before the appointment and I have never had this problem before, but as soon as the dentist started drilling I started to have excessive saliva. This has continued ever since, it is now HOURS later and I want to go to bed but my mouth is watering so badly that I believe I'd either drown or end up soaking my entire pillow. Why is this happening and how can I fix it quickly so I can get to bed?

Answers:

it could possibly be that you mouth thinks that there is food on ur teeth and is try to get rid of it and it could hurt bc they filled them to high so when u bite down it hurts so they will just shave it down abit more

my filling hurt b4 for the same reason
