Question: I'm getting an expander!? Questions!?
1 does it hurt
2 how long if it does
3 what do u eat when you get it in
4 what does tightning feel like

1. Yes it does hurt, but not terribly... It just aches.
2. I'd say less than a day.
3. You eat what you normally eat, except the list that the orthodontist should have given you... mostly just gum though. It is annoying though when food gets stuck up there.
4. It's uncomfortable, it feels more like pressure in your mouth... which eventually causes some aching.

I had one it hurts for the 1st week and when you eat it hurts but it goes away real quick tighting it dosnt hurt just feels wierd you eat what you usually eat just no gum :( its annoying when food gets stuck on it so whenyou eat drink after every bite lol its not that bad after the 1st week plus no one notices it :)
