Braces helppppp!!!!(:?!

To get braces on, you sit there with a plastic thingy that keeps your mouth open. They glue the little squares on each tooth and put rings on the molars. Then they put in the wire and the colors go on top to keep the wire in place. Purple and blue do go together :) I think you will be able to get through school, but I wouldn't recommend it. It hurts for a few days to weeks, then it only hurts when they cut your lips & cheeks. That's what wax is for (wax is your best friend with braces! Keep it around you!) I didn't have the pill you're talking about... They just used one of those air blowing thingys to dry my teeth :)

I had braces for 3 years

uhmm they take x - rays.
they clean your teeth.
they glue on the little square things.
they then dry them. they attach your first
set of wires.. you can't eat for like 4 hours.
the actual getting them on takes an hour & a half.
i couldn't actually eat anything solid for two days.
they do hurt bad. take an asprin though. i wouldnt
reccomend going to school the same day you get them on.
uhm, i didnt takee any pill that made my mouth dry.. so idk on that one.


i always get one color - black.
it makes your teeth look whiter.
and blue & purple go together, but just
a warning - they do fade.

It hurts for like 3 days and I got sprue because of the bracket rubs inside my mouth. Hmm yes blue and purple go together. I wear pink though ;) but the most important to do is never forget to brush your teeth daily. Good having braces.
