Why do I have to go back to the dentist ?!

Question: Why do I have to go back to the dentist ?

Okay so I recently went to the dentist for 2 hours for a root canal. They rescheduled me to go back a month later for another 2 hours. And after that 2 weeks later for half an hour. Why do I have to go back for the root canal ? I thought I was done.

Hi..For anyone to give you a reasonable answer they would have to know "exactly" what procedures were done in total. Maybe you only had the tooth opened, the root removed and medication put in the tooth. If that's the case you have to go back to have the root canal completed...Then, it's possible you may need a crown on the tooth after the root canal is completed. If that's the case it takes a couple of weeks to create the crown. Good luck and I wish you well.

first visit they clean out the canals and enlarge them, then they have you come back to seal it and prep for a crown if is needed. Don't worry its just the process.
