Question: Embarrassing Braces??!!!! HELP?

Well I have to get braces I was told by my dentist so he gave me the address to the ortho and last week I went and he checked my teeth and all that, asked me to bite down, etc. Then he told me that I would have to get braces because there were a few problems with my teeth. 1:They were crooked in the front and the left and right tooth next to the 2 front teeth were under my two front teeth so that was bad 2:I had a little overbite 3:The back of my mouth was the worst. My bottom set of teeth were fine and straight. But my top back were very crooked. I had a crossbite at the back and my ortho said that was the main reason I was getting my braces. He said I would have them at least 9 months!!! And to get to the real question here, At school there are only about 2 people that have braces.None of my friends have crooked teeth or braces.I'm the only one. I feel left out!!! Everytime I see someone smile their perfect teeth I sigh and think to myself what am I gonna do? my only option is of course braces! Or a retainer but that wont do much since my teeth are in quite a bad crisis!
My crush has braces too but if I come to school with braces he will think I copied him because Im just a weird freako who has a crush on him and does everything he does. But IM NOT!!!! I dont even want to have braces!!! My crushs friends are totally fine with him having braces, and trust me hes the POPULAR one in our school!! I just.....don't know what to do. Please help!!??? Just dont worry about it. It one of those things that people have to go through even though it sucks. I went through my first girlfriend with them. There are alot of awkward things about growing up, this is one of them. Just ignore the comments your friends will stop eventually.

Hard Experience

first off i need mine for 2 and 1/2 years, none of my friends have them and they sometimes forget i have them, and you cant just get braces cause its cool, if you NEED them you get them if he thinks your copying hes dumb because no one wants braces.

braces are cool :) seriously anyway 9 months is nothing try 4 years ... still only 3.9 more years to go for me!!! and i have elastics lol? And also would you rather have crooked teeth or nice pearly white straight teeth.

This is so gonna be on unfriendable.
