i know they gonna pulled my teeth out. i think it gonna hurt. :(
i heard the teeth sore for about a week after getting braces/tightened?
and why after getting them. cant eat solid food? will it be pain when u open the mouth?
will the dentist give painkiller before putting braces and after braces?

I had braces - a while ago now
* yes at first they feel weird and your mouth may feel a bit sore - but that passes. In the meantime take a few painkillers.
* You can eat solid food but there are some food you will quickly learn to avoid. e.g. chewy lollies - they stick to the metal.
* You don't need painkillers while getting the braces on. He simply glues them onto your teeth.
TIP - go into the baby section at the supermarket and buy some baby teething gel. Get some for home and school. When the braces are on and while you are getting used to them if there is a part that irritates you gums then rub the gel on. It works. Get it before you get the braces.
TIP - first night at home. Go for a soft dinner. Steak is for another night!
You will be fine and will appreciate it when they come off. My teeth are perfect and I thank the braces for that.
First question: True. Sometimes, it even takes more than a week for the pain to fade away.
Second question: Solid foods? Yes but not the crunchy and hard ones. Eat foods that are soft and easy to chew. You can feel pain just by clenching with your teeth.
Last: No.
There will be some soreness from braces but nothing you can't handle. Your dentist probably wont give you anything for the pain but a couple of Ibuprofen with get you through it.
