Question: I need to get my braces off!!!!!!!?

i'm going to an ortho appointment in like an hour and plz i want to get them off today!!! the last time i went there he said i could possibly take them off the next time(meaning today) but most likely the time after that (6 weeks from now). but plz they look perfect and besides they don't need to be 120% perfect they can be 99% perfect. can i beg him to take it off today? or maybe i can tell my mom to tell him to take them off, because its my teeth and i should have the right to do whatever i want with them,right? how do i persuade him?

Well, first off, see what he plans on doing today. Then if taking your braces off aren't in his plans for today, see if your mom can talk with him. If he wants your braces to stay on longer, ask him for his reason why they should stay on another 6 weeks.

I have had braces since August 2008, and my older sister had braces as well.

no offense but that's stupid. after your parents paid all that money you should want them 120% perfect. just wait 6 weeks.
you act like 3 years is a long time versus my 5 years of having braces.

I had braces and wanted them off but I found out that even if you teeth are straight the roots of your teeth take longer so if you take them off too early they will just go straight back. Might be the reason. :)

just say i want them off NOW! and if he says 'you'd be better waiting because there nearly ready' say well i think there fine now take them off!
