Where to line up x-ray machine when taking bite wings?!

Question: Where to line up x-ray machine when taking bite wings?
So I'm currently attending a dental college to become a dental assistant. We're supposed to be taking bite wing x-rays today, but I'm not quite sure where to line up the machine with the mouth. Could anyone explain this to me? Here is a picture of the type of machine we are using.

Answers:

if you are using a RINN kit then just line it up to the circle.. if you are just using biting tabs, then place the bite wing, instruct the patient to bite but keep their lips open (so you can see the position of the bite wing) and then line the cone up exactly where the bite wing is. the bite wing should be perfectly centered in the midle and parallel to the cone.
