Question about receding gums?!

Question: Question about receding gums?
I am FIFTEEN years old. I brush my teeth twice a day, once in the morning, and once at night. I floss, but not regularly. Only like.. 3 times a week after I eat big meals that have meat in them. (I have little gaps in all of my teeth so most of the time nothing gets stuck between them, only if I eat meat, which is rarely. Anything that's not meat comes out when I rinse my mouth out with water). I use mouth wash. My gums are healthy, no gum pockets or anything like that. They don't hurt and/or bleed when I brush my teeth or floss. But my gums seem to be receding a bit. I don't know, it could just be the way they naturally are because they've been this way for a while (And they haven't really gotten "worse"). But below my molars on the bottom row, it sort of looks like my gums are receding from the bottom, up. Like.. the bottom is skinnier than the top. If that makes sense? I honestly don't know how to explain it better :/ And you probably don't understand, but could my gums be receding even if they're healthy? Thanks

Answers:

improper brushing (scrubbing) could lead to a receding gum line. It is ok to scrub the biting surfaces but for the facial and lingual surfaces, you should be brushing at a 45 degree angle in small circles.
