White tongue, I'm curious...?!

Question: White tongue, I'm curious...?
Almost every morning (but not EVERY morning) I wake up, I have a white coating on my tongue.
It is easily removed just bust brushing my tongue and it generally doesn't persist through the day, only happens while I sleep I guess. I don't believe it's due to a deficient immune system, 'cause I never get sick, but (if by chance) I do get sick, I get well very fast, like within' a day or two (if not less). If I get a cut or something, it heals rather quickly, so I've got a lot of confidence in it.

I'm kind of thinking it's either caused by dehydration, because I know I don't drink anywhere near as much water as I should, some days the only time water touches my mouth is because I brush my teeth. I may also be quite deficient in many vitamins and minerals my body needs 'cause I can't afford to eat well, but I just bought some sea essentials that have all the required vitamins in it that I take every morning now tryin' to boost it up.
I'm also depressed if that could also have anything to do with it and my environment is quite dirty. Like gross dirty, nothing I can do about it because it's the state of the room, broken windows, holes in the ceiling that leads to the attack, full of dust, holes in the walls that lead to outside, etc...

Anyway, any idea?

Answers:

That's quite normal. When you sleep, you don't swallow your saliva and they accumulate in your mouth. The bacteria mix with those saliva and reproduce, causing the white stuff you see in your tongue. Brushing your tongue is not enough, you should also scrape it. If you don't see it through out the day it should be fine. Just scrape and brush your tongue every morning and you're good.
