4 Bicuspid extractions for braces?!

Question: 4 Bicuspid extractions for braces?
I am getting the first by cuspids pulled out , 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom.
Is it gonna dramatically change my facial structure?
I have 2 teeth on my gums , they are like 2 fangs above my incisors ,
I think the two i'm referring to are the Cusbids(Canines)

Answers:

I had 4 bicuspids (first pre-molars) extracted for braces as well. In the beginning, the gaps will cause your face to look slightly sunken in, but within 3 days you'll get used to it and then you won't notice anything at all. As for changes to your facial structure, it depends highly on what your structure is, for example if you have a narrow smile, extraction of pre-molars will possibly cause your smile to appear narrower. Also, your face might become more co-lapsed due to the teeth being pushed back in to fill the gaps, but all in all there shouldn't be any major changes.

Ask your orthodontist for more info.

Researched all about this, mom's an orthodontist.
