Question: Is there a way to prevent braces getting caught on wound inside lip?
My band is playing a show tonight, and I have multiple singing parts, but whenever i open my mouth a wound on the inner right side of my upper lip gets caught on one of my brackets. I was wondering if there is like a band aide made for inner mouth wounds or something that wont be noticeable to the crowd?

Put your wax on those area's
I got my 2 days before thanksgiving and I had the same problem, so I called my ortgadontist. His answer was try wax. When you first get your braces your orthadontist should have given you a little box with wax in it, or you can get some at a store or a wal-mart or some place like that. Wax is very helpful. Good luck with your band program.
