Question: Is it normal if your front adult teeth are wobbley?
I'm only 12 but I've lost all my baby teeth, and my front teeth are a bit wobbley and I'm scared if they fall out.I just wanted to know if it happens to everyone, also is there anyway to prevent it?
Thank you.

If you mean by wobbly, the fact that front teeth move a tiny little bit when pushing against them, yes this is normal. The movement should only be TINY though, not like baby teeth that have come loose.

Teeth do have nerves and a blood supply. If teeth were totally immobile, each time we chew or clench our teeth, we would totally cut off the blood supply, eventually causing the tooth to die. The body has made sure that this doesn't happen by allowing a little movement, so blood flow is not impaired.

Just as an aside, do look after your permanent teeth. Brush twice a day, preferably with an electric toothbrush and a fluoride toothpaste. Floss regularly. As far as mouthwash, research has shown there is an increased risk of mouth cancer, and that bacteria grow back just as fast with or without mouth wash. Make your own mouth wash by putting some baking soda in a glass of water, and rinsing with that. Baking soda will cause the mouth to be less acid, and those tooth eating bacteria LOVE an acid environment. So by making the mouth more alkaline, you actually decrease the presence and growth of bacteria.

The bone probably isn't completely built up since you have more teeth coming. As they squeeze their way in, they'll have to push other teeth over so that's why they seem a bit loose. If you have regular dental checkups then the xrays would show if there was a problem with the roots. Also if you have or recently had braces then you teeth would definitely be loose

General no they should not do that however, there are some people out there who have what is called meth mouth. Not a very pretty subject or site. I have also seen some yong kids who had bad teeth because of te diet and upbringing. It would be best if you went into see a dentist about your teeth.
