Painful sharp stitch poking cheek and gums after wisdom teeth extraction?!

Question: Painful sharp stitch poking cheek and gums after wisdom teeth extraction?
I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out 10 days ago. None of the stitches have bothered me and most of them have dissolved except for the top right ones. The other stitches in my mouth seemed soft and flopped around as they were coming out, but the upper right one feels very sharp and it feels like a piece of it is sticking out and keeps poking me in my cheek and gums. My friend had hers taken out this summer and told me to try to pull it out with tweezers. As soon as i started pulling a little the site started bleeding. I don't know what to do, but it is sharp and is still poking me. It even cut my tongue when i stuck it up there!

You should not pull it out yourself. Please go to your Oral Surgeon who pulled out your wisdom teeth.

I know it is bothersome but you could injure yourself more by doing it yourself. If you are unable to see the surgeon or he or she is unavailable, you can go to the ER to have them take a look at what is going on.
