Front tooth still hurts after root canal?!

Question: Front tooth still hurts after root canal?
I had done a root canal at front tooth (#8). It still hurt sometimes and now after I placed a crown on it it still does hurt every once in a while. I went to 3 different dentists and all said that the root canal was done greatly. One told me that pain at a root canal tooth always means that the job was done right. That I should always expect some pain at the tooth with root canal done.

If there is no longer any infection and it has been quite some time already, then there shouldn't be any more pain. Properly done root canals don't have pain after.

If the tooth was recently treated and was done properly, give it some time for the pain to subside. Your body needs time to heal.

It is possible you might have a problem with your tooth's supporting structures.

Go consult a root canal specialist (endodontist). If he or she doesn't find anything wrong, then consult a gum specialist (periodontist). Now if they both say nothing is wrong, then go consult a crown specialist (prosthodontist).
