Question about getting teeth capped?!

Question: Question about getting teeth capped?
I want to get all my teeth capped. It's something i've wanted for so long. I'm 17, and I remember when I was 7, a dentist told my dad I had this rare genetic disease that caused my teeth to be soft, and have hardly any enamel. Over the years, I've gotten so many cavities, chipped teeth. No matter how good I took care of them. Even now, I have a really severely chipped tooth, it doesn't hurt or anything, but it's incredibly noticeable. I haven't been able to smile for years. My teeth are so bad, it's really taken a hit on my self esteem. We don't have a lot of money, I do have some type of dental insurance, but I'm not sure what kind. I know it's really expensive. I'm wondering if there is any programs that help pay for it or if there's a specific dental plan out there that could help. Seems like something different is wrong with my teeth every day. any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

If it is due to a medical condition, you may be able to get your health insurance to help, it is going to be difficult, and your parents may have to make lots of telephone calls, but it is possible it will work. First you will need a letter from your doctor, stating that is the reason you have problems with your teeth. Good Luck

I think you have developed a hereditary disease called as Amelogenesis Imperfecta.Your decision of capping would be helpful.
