Question: Is dental hygene school hard ? ( Minnesota)?
I am currently going to a community college for graphic design and i hate it...
So ive been doing some research and the closest schools in my area for dental hyegene are Herzing, Argosy, and the University of MN . See the thing is i doubt i will get into the U of M because i didnt have a 4.0 gpa in highschool or anything extra... And i guess it's hard to get into that school. Btw i live in Minnesota around the metro area.
So my questions are: Is dental hygene school hard? Is the pay pretty good ? Is it fun ?Is is worth it overall ? I am willing to work my hardest on this ( which is pretty hard lol ) ... Which schools would you choose between Argosy and Herzing? ( dont look at price )
Btw I am 20 years old, if that matters...
I am just so confused.... I dont know what I want. :)

Well first off you should learn to spell Hygiene. And if you are applying to transfer from a Community College to a 4 year university they don't consider HS they look at what you have done at the community school that is why so many underachievers go to CC first.
And I go to a university that has one of the best dental programs although I'm not in the dental school, I will say if you like the idea of cleaning peoples teeth and what not then you will enjoy it. I have friends that love it..but they were always a lil off when it came to teeth obseessions. I personally would hate staring into peoples mouths..think about if they have rotting teeth, bad breath, don't brush. To me being a dental hygienist isn't an attractive job.

If you qualify join the Army as a 68E - Dental Specialist then you can train as a Dental Assistant/Hygienist or Dental Laboratory Specialist!
