Question: How long does it take, fillings?

How long does it take for sensitivity to go away? I got a few fillings the week before christmas, they haven't been sensitive since like christmas week. But I was just eating gummy worms and it hurts my teeth, it feels like sugar is touching the root or something. Is this normal, should this be happening?

Depends on what kind of filling but u still shouldn't be having sensitivity to sugar
