Loose bracket on braces....?!

Question: Loose bracket on braces....?
I noticed I had a loose bracket when the bracket was still on the wire, but it had slid all the way to the end of my tooth. With some force, I slid the bracket back into place. I will be getting my bracket re-glued (but not sure when). Just wondering, how exactly do they fix the bracket and how long does It take?

And what I'm wondering the MOST about it, once they re-glued the bracket and fixed the problem, will my teeth be sore again just like the time when I first got my braces?? (which was a week ago..)

they take off the loose bracket ( duh )
and then they sand off the cement on your tooth with a drill
(it feels really weird and smells funky)
then they cement the new bracket on and you're ready to go(:
it is a little sore because the tooth actually starts moving.
but not at all like when you first get them! promise.
i think they probably just did a bad job cementing it on the first time. i doubt it was your fault(:
hope this helped!

well for your first question im pretty sure they just reglue it
its going to be sore but it shouldn't be as bad as when you first got them on

i have braces

Since u jus got them recently it might be sore but I doubt it will hurt you, jus don't chew gum after they fix them bcus they will get loose again!

Hi xxmusicl, I know how you feel.
See your dentist who will reglue the bracket which is simple otherwise the braces will not be effective in moving your teeth.
I like many others have an adverse fear of the dentist which is due to a really frightening experience when I was a kid. I used to have sleepless nights and break out in cold sweats just thinking about it. That is until my friends told me about a youtube video which I related to and I got a hold of a Free Fear report which helped me to address my fear to take action.

I found a really sympathetic dentist who helped me step by step encouraging me to get the treatment I needed.

I no longer have teeth or gums problems and have got to the stage that seeing the dentist is just not such an ordeal now. This has also helped my friends and I can assure you that I was the dentist's worse patient. Not now and if you are truly phobic and afraid of the dentist get to see the video and the report is life changing.

Do not suffer any longer. Get your smile back.
All the best, and keep smiling ok?
