Question: Black-purple stain on my lip?
I have been a smoker for about 10 years and within the past 6 months I have gottena blackish-purple bruise looking stain on my lip. I only smoke a half a pack a day and I smoke lights. I know people who smoke way more and have never gotten anything like this. Does anyone know if this is caused from smoking or have any ideas what it is or how to get rid of it? It is so dark people notice it constantly and it is very frustrating!

You need to show this to a doctor. It could be just some discoloration, but it could be something a lot more serious. Please do not wait around on this. If it is what I suspect, it will get a lot worse eventually. But since I can't examine you, I am not going to give you a diagnosis. Get to a doctor who can look at the mark and help you choose the right course of action.
