First off, I give you props for wearing your rubberbands frequently. Many people, including myself, dont wear the bands as often as we should leading to a prolonged period of braces. Youll only have your braces on for a little over a year which is less than average for most people as well. At this point, there really isnt anything you can do to speed the process up and youll just have to unfortunately wait. But once you get them off, youll be more than happy with your smile.
*Just make sure to wear your retainers as often as your ortho tells you too. You dont want your new smile to go away after hard work. But if you wore your rubberbands frequently, you shouldnt have any problem with a retainer.
Had braces for over 2 years.
They make u wear them longer cuz they want them to be completely perfect at least ur not like me I was 14 months overdue to get them off cuz I never wore my rubberbands and someone fell on me in cheerleading a mint before I was supposed to get them off
yeah..they just want to keep making money. so until they are PERFECT the braces stay on. it sucks right?
