Wisdom teeth removal and sinus cavity?!

Question: Wisdom teeth removal and sinus cavity?
My 3 wisdom teeth were extracted 11 days ago. On the second day, when i was rinsing my mouth, some water came out through my nose. I guess it was from my mouth. And later I didnt get this symptom, but today i had it again, on the 11th day. I do have a small pain on my cheek bone and eye. Does his mean my my sinus cavity got opened? how long does it take to heal this condition? Are there any home remedies to get healed soon?

The water coming from your nose is the relevant factor. This can only happen with an oro-antral fistula. So yes there is an opening into your sinus. This can happen after removal of any upper posterior tooth. It depends on the length of the roots and the proximity of the sinus cavity.

The pain in your cheek could be infection starting, because the germs from your mouth get into the sinus.
Bottom line ....get back to your dentist asap.. It will not heal on its own.The area (opening) will need to be closed, ie sutured plus antibiotics to try and clear up any infection..... or possibly referral, depending on the situation..
No home remedies will solve problem.Do NOT blow your nose because this would keep the opening patent

Considering the location of our sinus cavities, I consider it unlikely. Take a look at the picture I attached in the source. But it wouldn't hurt to give the guy a call. The pain could simply be from bruised nerves. They DO warn you of that before the procedure. As for the guy that answered first, that's not true. Veneers may be a scam for celebrities to ruin their teeth for life, but not for people like my mother who have damaged frontal teeth from a fall when she was young. She was left with fragments for teeth and needed veneers. Wisdom teeth removal are definitely NOT a scam for people like me whos teeth were coming in UNDER my back molars. Thanks ignorant person.

wisdom tooth removal and veneers is the latest dentist scam to make money , if the job hasn't been done right the damage can bother you for years
