Why do my gums bleed so easily?!

Question: Why do my gums bleed so easily?
I'm 15 and my gums have a tendency to bleed easily when I floss.. I don't smoke, only drink water, brush twice a day and use listerine. Is it just because I'm flossing wrong or something?

It's because you don't floss often enough. The more you floss, the tougher your gums will get, and the less they will bleed.

Both parents are dentists.

your gums could be reall,y sensitivelike mine

or i think it could be gingivitis

get it checked out if your breath stinks even after you brush your teeth

otherwise i wouldnt worry about it

I would see a dentist, maybe even an oral surgeon. Could be gingivitis, or a result of mouth breathing at night, or maybe something else.

you're either brushing too hard, or not brushing enough. I'm thinking you're brushing too hard.

you dont floss or brush enough
