Extra tooth! confused?!

Question: Extra tooth! confused?

Okay, so I had all four molars removed a little over a year ago. Well now on the lower left side of my mouth where a molar used to be, ANOTHER one seems to be growing. I thought I was crazy at first because my gums were just really sore and I thought it was random, but today I felt my gums and there is indeed something sharp underneath! I've heard of fourth molars but this molar are EXACTLY where my third molar was. Wtf is going on?!?!?!?!

I've already had my wisdom teeth pulled. But it seems as though an extra wisdom tooth is growing in. Essentially the 2nd set of wisdom teeth. I mean it doesn't hurt at all, none of my first set of wisdom teeth hurt, I just find it weird, because I've been trying to look up some info and can only find info on 4th molars

Actually, it is more likely that it is a bone spur that has grown from the bone. I have one where I had an impacted tooth pulled down with oral surgery (which is what wisdom teeth removal is). Next time you go to the dentist, mention it to them so that they can look at it and monitor it, but unless it is bothering you they probably won't have to do anything about it.

Well , I have NO idea. Go consult a dentist or something - I'm not genius in this category.

The only theory I can come up with is that you're mutating. O.o
