will my teeth move back?!

Question: Will my teeth move back?
i had braces fro a year and a 1/2, got them off and wore my plates, all was good until i stopped wearing my plates, i haven't worn them for about a year now, if i start wearing my plate again, will my teeth move back to their paces? and if so how long roughly will it take?? please answer :)

Answers:

it is normal for your teeth to shift slightly after wearing braces and plates...i had the same...u may even find u cant get ur plates back into your mouth as they have moved but it shouldnt be so dramatic that u have to have it all done again. see ur dentist about it if worried,
when u have braces the teeth are pushed and pulled into position and then the bone needs to reform about the tooth to hold it in place which is why u have to have braces on and plates on for so long...im sure urs are fine but if worried go check with ur dentist. :)

Your teeth have been course corrected, once the plates are removed, they should continue to grow on the correct course :)

They won't because in a year your teeth change positions dramatically. You are going to just have to get them over again.

teeth always shift
