Question: Will my gums go back to normal?
I have had my braces on for 1.5 years and for quite a bit of that period I didn't floss (AT ALL), so my gums swelled up. I went to the dentist and she said that if I started flossing my gums should go back to normal. I flossed, and some of the swelling did go down. Two months after that my orthodontist said that I will be getting my braces of my next visit. I am worried that my gums will stay big and red after I get my braces off. Will my gums go back to normal?

They won't. They'll be normal. But I do have loss of gum tissue on my bottom tooth and it's from having braces but I've had mine for 5 years so yeah.
