Question: Tooth asbcess.....help?
i have a tooth asbcess and it pop last night alot of pus came out but den it started just really a lil blood ...this moring i went to spit and i seen i little bit of pus but thats about it it still kindna swollon but the pain went away....i heard injestin the pus can kill you... how would i know if i injested some in my sleep...im goin to the dentist but i cant til next week

Ingesting puss will not hurt you. Puss is just a collection of byproducts of the infection and your body's defense cells.
Generally when you drain the abscess the pain will go away. The pressure caused by puss accumulation is what causes the horrible discomfort. When you drain it blood will come out. This is normal. You have a severe infection and the body is trying to fight it by sending lots of blood to the area. The blood carries cells that will fight the infection.
If this is caused by a tooth, you will either need an extraction or root canal treatment. Possibly antibiotics.
If you cannot absolutely go to the dentist right away try draining the puss and you pain level should be low to none.
