Is dental hygene school hard? (Minnesota)?!
Question: Is dental hygene school hard? (Minnesota)?
I am currently going to a community college for graphic design and i hate it...
So ive been doing some research and the closest schools in my area for dental hyegene are Herzing, Argosy, and the University of MN . See the thing is i doubt i will get into the U of M because i didnt have a 4.0 gpa in highschool or anything extra... And i guess it's hard to get into that school. Btw i live in Minnesota around the metro area.
So my questions are: Is dental hygene school hard? Is the pay pretty good ? Is it fun ?Is is worth it overall ? I am willing to work my hardest on this ( which is pretty hard lol ) ... Which schools would you choose between Argosy and Herzing? ( dont look at price, i learned that the hard way )
Btw I am 20 years old, if that matters...

Hard is relative. Things you enjoy seem less "hard". If you like science, like Physiology, Microbiology, Organic Chem, then it might be something for you. Take your pre requisites and see if you find the courses interesting. The other thing is you have to really like people, being a part of a professional team requires a certain amount of accountability, and there are no short cuts.
Sure the money is great, the hours are great, and if you like people it's a fun job. I didn't go to school in MN so I can't help you with the school selection part, but get a tour of each school and talk to the director of each school, maybe that will help you decide.
