My back tooth hurts - wisdom teeth coming through?!

Question: My back tooth hurts - wisdom teeth coming through?
Well, a couple of months ago I thought my wisdom teeth started coming through as it began to hurt a lot at the back of my mouth but then it just stopped. Then yesterday, my very back molar began to hurt when I tapped it and sometimes when I clench down, but it also feels like my wisdom tooth is also wriggling about a bit. Do you think it's my wisdom tooth coming through or just something else?

Answers:

It seems, based on the info you have provided here, that your wisdom tooth is "trapped". This means that your wisdom tooth has no space to come out properly, as therefore you may experience uncomfortable feeling from time to time. If it is the case, it will have to be removed.

I would advice you to visit your dentist. If you cannot afford it, a GP can easily check this, too.

Good luck and do not forget to gurgle salt and water/alcohol (without swallowing!) to ease the pain

Gp's will not deal with dental problems go see your dentist. It does sound like this could be your wisdom teeth if it keeps going on and off for a few months best get it checked out by a dentist.
