Can hot water or hot soup wreak your teeth enamel?!

Question: Can hot water or hot soup wreak your teeth enamel?
i'm wondering, i'm really scared because i always eat soups and i always brush my teeth with hot water, am i ok or not? will this wreak my enamel?

Answers:

Only if its scorching HOT! Water does not have a citric acid in which it doesnt have an effect on your tooth enamel. Hot water is actually good for you to brush your teeth with, and its also healthy for your arteries too.

Food and soft drinks (mostly soda) will weaken it, not break it. Foods like oranges, berries, lemons, limes, sourdough bread, pineapple, tamarind, soft drinks, sugary fruit juice, and even cheese can weaken it. I try not to eat those foods alot >_<

Hope i helped!

no. im pretty sure it wont, and if it does not that bad. but what really wreaks the enamel is lemons. sucking on lemons and eating them. its all acid. so anything with acid will be bad for your teeth.

No, acidic foods and beverages wreck enamel, as does not brushing your teeth and allowing bacteria and plaque to accumulate.
