That is how braces work. If they were to fast there would be unbearable pain. And teeth could possibly break. Slow and steady wins the race.

Well with my braces my dentist did something called the pain pain chain. Very painful . it where they double the rubber bands and in the front they go one by one and they stretch it across the whole tooth . and on the bottom like five teeth they will put on rubber band and connect it . VERY painful but you get quicker results . It's worth it . You probably haven't gotten you're teeth tightened enough .

Calm down. It takes a while for them to place. When you first get them, your teeth are more crooked and they focus on making them straighter, but now they're on the details getting them just right and fitted.
