I have a question about dentures?!


Question: I have a question about dentures?
I got dentures after 3 years of having no teeth. The denture adhesive I use works wonderful but once I take my dentures out for the night I have an awful time getting the adhesive off of my gums and the roof of my mouth. Is there a way to easily get the adhesive off?

Unfortunately it is the nature of the product. With denture adhesive using more product will yield poorer results than using less. You do not say if you apply adhesive more than once a day. Most people use a wet wash cloth and warm water to wipe the product off the gums. Also drinking something with citrus juice before taking your teeth out may also cut the adhesive some.
