Question: Can you mix pencillin vk and clindamycin?
my boyfriend has a bad dental infection in his mouth and was precribed these from the dentist and the hospital. the hospital prescribed the pencillin vk the night before and the next day he went to the dentist and she prescribed him clindamycin and vicodin.

TKs is right. Use the clindamycin and the vicodin. The PenVk from the hopital was a med to cover the majority of common dental infections. The dentist will have more experience in treating dental infection. There is no need for both.
Unless the Dentist said to take both, just take the Clindamycin. If you are in doubt, call the Dentist and ask.
