Can I get braces with reversed teeth?!

Question: Can I get braces with reversed teeth?
What I mean by reversed teeth is my left lateral incisor is switched with my canine (in other words, my canine tooth is next to my front teeth, and the tooth that should be between them is where my canine should be).

When I went to Dental Ville, I talked to a woman about braces. What she told me is that I should get my lateral incisor and my canine REMOVED, put fake teeth in, and then get braces. Do I have to get fake teeth?

Answers:

Its possible to "shape" teeth to look like other teeth... you should go get another opinion. Most likely you can have your canine reduced to the shape of a lateral, and your lateral built up to look like a canine. And yes braces would be possible, im not sure if they would be done before or after teeth reshaping.

Do you wanna have teeth like everyone else or do you want this reverse teeth thing be your "unique" thing.

No fake teeth but make sure you consult with more than ONE doctor!! the more opinions, the better :)
